Abstract

Today, research on people's attitudes towards money has more been taken into consideration. During globalization and rapid changes in the labor market and the emergence of the economic crisis, studying and understanding of people's attitudes toward money, not only in the West, but also in other cultures, seems necessary. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of factors of monetary attitude (budget, evil, equity, success, motivation) on income satisfaction index. This research is a descriptive correlational research. The statistical population of the research is the faculty members and staff of Yazd University, among whom 220 were selected by stratified random sampling method in 1397. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire and the collected data were analyzed using structural equation modeling approach based on partial least squares method using SPSS and PLS software. The results showed that for professors motivation predicts changes in income satisfaction to high degree, while for employees, in addition to this, the budgeting factor also predicted income satisfaction.
