Identifying The Ideal Organizational Culture Model in the Information Centers of Payam Noor Universities in the Country

Abstract

Organizational culture is considered as the factor of survival of organizations and providing their organizational growth. Therefore, this study is carried out with the aim of identifying and presenting the ideal organizational culture model in the libraries and information centers of Payam Noor universities in the country. According to the nature and purpose of this research, its review is Mix-Method. The studied community includes academic experts, librarians and library managers of Payam Noor universities across the country, 18 of whom were selected using the snowball sampling method until reaching theoretical saturation. The research tool is a semi-structured interview. The text of the interviews was examined by thematic analysis and a total of 4 dimensions, 9 main categories and 25 sub-categories were identified, which are dimensions of human-oriented culture (scientific selection, knowledge improvement), law-oriented culture (standardization and organizational adaptability). ), interactive culture (perspective, institutional justice, adaptation and environmental flexibility), aesthetic culture (refreshing and standardization) were categorized. Finally, this research has provided the necessary background for understanding and recognizing this concept and its correct application in the libraries and information centers of the country's Payam Noor universities by presenting the ideal organizational culture model.
