Abstract

Research in the field of management faces numerous challenges, including the methodological challenge of conducting management research, such as organizational behavior. Examining and understanding this topic helps advance knowledge in organizational behavior. This article investigates the research conducted by the Organizational Behavior Studies Quarterly from a methodological perspective. The purpose of this research is an applied research project, and the research method is qualitative, based on content analysis. The statistical population includes all articles published in the “Organizational Behavior Studies Quarterly” between 2013 and 2021, totaling 242 articles. Eight indicators were analyzed, including the distribution of articles by year, research approach, data analysis method, data gathering tools, research area, number of authors per article, geographical area studied, and field of study of the corresponding author. The results show that most studies were focused on Tehran province (37 cases), Razavi Khorasan (13 cases), and Fars province (10 cases). The most common subjects of the articles were leadership and trust (40 cases), deviant behavior (32 cases), and attitude (23 cases). Public administration researchers made a significant contribution to publishing articles in the field of organizational behavior. The majority of studies were descriptive-correlational and quantitative, using the structural equation method. Additionally, 54% of the data collection was through questionnaires.
